Aquifer works are imminent at Harvil, drill in position to start today. The aquifer supplies 3.5 million peoples drinking water (22% of London’s  drinking water and much of Bucks). HS2 have applied to re route the water supply from the Blackford group of pumping stations near Harvil road, to Watford which is Thames Water. Affinity Water have protested on the basis that they won’t be able to guarantee the ongoing purity and safety of the water.

Support in any form is needed today, including people to legally observe and/or film the situation or simply bring along some food or drink for fellow activists who are locked on.

if you cannot attend today, please share this video far and wide and in particular please tweet it to news organisations and journalists as there is a story here that we might be able to get them to cover.

I’m angry and sad and sad and angry a furious as much of these trees are ONLY BEING FELLED TO MAKE WAY FOR CAR PARKING OF HS2 WORKERS It’s because of the machinery The track itself is Narrow but the land grab is HUGE

I have no words to express how I feel about this.....such contempt for nature is utterly bewildering and unthinkable 😢

sad....

shocking madness and corrupt thinking

Unforgivable!

& they've stolen the timber value which is a lot of money so not only destroyed protected public property but stolen from the public purse too. Remarkable BoJo is it not !!!
